Full Job Description

Latitude is seeking a CT-based Personal Injury Attorney to lead and manage the Personal Injury Department of a boutique law firm located near New Haven, CT. Interested candidates should have at least 3 years of experience handling plaintiff-side personal injury cases from inception to resolution. This role is ideal for an attorney who wants to take ownership of cases, mentor staff, and collaborate with firm leadership while remaining actively involved in high-value legal work. Excellent academic credentials, oral advocacy skills, and strong leadership and communication skills are a must. Candidates must be licensed and in good standing in Connecticut. This is an in-office role with limited local travel.

Responsibilities for the CT Plaintiffs' Personal Injury Attorney:

Lead and manage the personal injury department
Handle a full caseload of pre-litigation and litigation matters
Oversee motor vehicle accident, premises liability, and workplace injury cases
Develop case strategy, negotiate settlements, and handle litigation as needed
Mentor and collaborate with paralegals, case managers, and support staff
Maintain high standards for client communication and case progression

Requirements for the CT Plaintiffs' Personal Injury Attorney:

At least 3 years of personal injury experience
Licensed to practice and in good standing in Connecticut
J.D. from an accredited law school and excellent academic credentials
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, professional law firm setting
Excellent oral advocacy skills
Strong leadership, case management, and communication skills
Spanish fluency strongly preferred but not required

Type of Role: Permanent
Schedule: Full-time
Location: In-person (near New Haven, CT)

Compensation

Pay: The salary range for this role is $160,000 - $180,000. Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, and location.
Benefits: In addition to pay, a competitive benefits package is also provided, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) and generous leave policies.
