Licensed Clinician (LPC / LMFT / LCSW), Full-Time, W2, West Monroe, LA
Somewhere along the way, a lot of good therapists got turned into billing units. Quotas dressed up as "productivity standards." Percentage splits nobody can explain, tied to collections that arrive whenever the insurance company gets around to it. Referral promises that evaporate after the first month. A schedule you technically control, as long as you ask permission.
We built Finding Solace to be the other thing.
We're a team of 20+ clinicians and support staff in West Monroe, serving clients across Louisiana in person and by telehealth. Our mission is genuine connection, with clients and with each other. We serve every person regardless of who they love, pray to, vote for, or look like, and we hire people who mean that too.
Here's the honest version of the deal:
- Pay: Starting at $45 guaranteed per clinical hour, W2, for fully licensed clinicians, plus $20/hour for every required meeting and training. Nothing mandatory is unpaid. We can't guarantee to be the highest payor, but our goal is financial stability and predictability. Most groups pay a percentage of collections, which means your paycheck waits on billing cycles, shrinks with denials, and swings with every insurance rate change. A guaranteed hourly rate means the session you do this week is worth the same on this week's paycheck, every time, whether or not the claim has been paid yet. *Clinicians who bring an active caseload receive additional consideration.
- Your job is two things. Be an excellent clinician and an excellent documentarian. We handle the rest: software, scheduling, billing, credentialing with over 49 payor groups (faster than most with our group contracts), supervision, CEUs, compliance, marketing, and a furnished office.
- We carry the business risk. We do not pass insurance clawbacks to our clinicians, and you're paid whether or not a claim is denied or a client pays their bill. When a major payor changed its billing rules in 2022, we absorbed the clawbacks ourselves and paid additional compensation to keep our team's income stable.
- Caseload, honestly: We will never promise you a volume number. What we offer is a partnership: we get the phone to ring, and you help us make sure it rings for you through your availability, input on client matching, and collaboration on the build. Some clinicians want a full schedule fast; some want a slower build. We set the goal together and build toward it at your pace, with a paid, structured onboarding plan while you learn the practice and set up your office. Nobody expects a full schedule in week one, including us.
- Schedule: Full-time is 22 clinical hours a week, set collaboratively and managed by you. We look at your numbers cumulatively each quarter, not week to week. Want a long vacation? Build your hours around it. No approval chain. Personal life first isn't a poster here; it's the actual policy.
- Support: Open doors, weekly check-ins that exist so you're heard (not audited), consultation with the clinical director or leadership whenever you need it, and a structured quarterly review so compliance and documentation never sneak up on you.
- Your evenings: AI documentation assistance, TherapyNotes with remote access, and constantly seeking resources to return your time back to you.
- Benefits: 2 weeks PTO · professional stipends · free in-house CEUs you're paid to attend · paid supervision when needed · up to 3% retirement match · potential health insurance coverage by year end (we're working on it, and we won't call it a promise until it is one).
- Student loans: Finding Solace is an NHSC-approved site. Clinicians who join us may be eligible to apply for the NHSC Loan Repayment Program, which currently offers behavioral health providers up to $50,000 in student loan repayment in exchange for a two-year full-time service commitment. Approval and award decisions belong entirely to NHSC/HRSA, and we cannot guarantee an award, but the approved-site status that makes applying possible is already in place here. Learn more at nhsc.hrsa.gov.
- Growth: We believe seeing clients full time, back to back, for 20 years just isn't sustainable, and we won't pretend it is. You have to pursue your passions and find ways to grow your income without constantly adding clients. We support our team in converting their interests into ongoing revenue, and we're expanding our services to build innovative ways to supplement your traditional sessions. If you want to specialize, there's room to build it here.
You: Fully licensed LPC, LMFT, or LCSW in Louisiana (unencumbered); comfortable with individual, couples, or family work; someone who wants colleagues, not just a login or a paycheck.
