Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC machinery and be proficient in programming and fabricating precision components. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Adhere to all Safety and Quality Zero Tolerance policies to ensure a safe and compliant work environment
Collaborate effectively in a team setting to support safety, quality, and production standards.
Operate CNC machines, including lathes to produce high-quality parts according to specifications.
Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and coordinate measuring machines to ensure accuracy of machined components.
Program CNC equipment for various machining tasks, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
Fabricate parts using hand tools and other machining equipment as required.
Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to ensure proper functioning and minimize downtime.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety guidelines.

Skills

Proficiency in operating CNC machinery, 2-3 years of experience preferred.
Experience with programming CNC equipment for various machining tasks.
Experience with manual lathe, drill press, Bridgeport, etc.
Experience with blueprints and schematics.
Strong knowledge of precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and coordinate measuring machines.
Experience operating forklifts is preferred but not mandatory.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
