Marketing Manager: Agency Services

In this role, you'll own marketing strategy for some of Montana's best-known organizations while helping launch new marketing software products. If you're ready to move beyond managing campaigns and want to own client strategy, mentor a team, and help build the future of a growing marketing company, we'd love to meet you.

We're growing our agency business and looking for someone who wants to help build what's next.

You'll partner directly with our Senior Director of Digital Marketing to own strategy for major client accounts while helping shape the next generation of Pintler Group's systems and software.

Okay, here’s who we're looking for:

Large Client Support: We’re in need of someone to help be the point person for onboarding and account management of large (tier one) new clients, and pick up some of our current client load. A combination of “wow” stakeholder management and the ability to roll up your sleeves and build campaigns. Strategy + execution.
Lead Gen Marketing + Experimenting: We experiment relentlessly. For clients and for ourselves. We’re committed to the idea that you can experiment your way into the future. The ideal candidate should be familiar with formulating a hypothesis and running tests for clients to determine winners.
Onboarding New Clients. Reporting directly to our Senior Director of Digital Marketing, you’ll be responsible for taking clients from the sales team and working with them to fully understand the marketing challenges they’re facing. Recommending the marketing channels to test, and then working with our digital marketing specialist, implementation team, and intern teams to execute the campaigns.
Wowing Clients: You’ve witnessed the chaos. You’ve managed the chaos. Your clients have sent you a Christmas card before.

What Success Looks Like:

Proven ability to communicate confidently with senior client stakeholders, lead meetings, present strategy, and manage sensitive client political dynamics.
Experience leading cross-functional internal teams (designers, specialists, analysts, developers).
Comfortable owning strategy, execution oversight, and reporting for paid search, paid social, and data/analytics projects.
Strong foundational understanding of:Google Ads, Meta AdsGA4, Looker Studio, attribution modelsCRM and marketing automation workflows (HubSpot, Slate, etc.)Landing page strategy, CRO, and content optimization
Prior experience mentoring or developing junior marketing talent is a strong plus.

Become the strategic lead for 6–10 Tier One client relationships.
Build and optimize paid media campaigns that generate measurable growth.
Mentor junior marketers and elevate the team's capabilities.
Help shape and launch Pintler Group's emerging software products.
Build repeatable systems that make both clients and teammates more successful.

This role isn't for someone looking to simply manage campaigns. It's for someone who wants to become a marketing leader, build systems that scale, mentor others, and help shape the future of a growing company.

Onboarding one of the most recognizable brands in Montana: growing their email list and expanding services.

Building our robust internship program with the University of Montana.

Creating six core processes for our most repeatable (and also previously bespoke) tasks.

Freeing up time to focus on delivering results.

Lander: our newest software product already being used by one of our largest clients clients to build landing pages.

Hosting our own marketing events. First Missoula Marketing Workshop in June was a big hit.

Setting ambitious and achievable goals for growth as a team. ROCKS!

Building our very own proprietary software tools and taking them to market including GeoFli, RevelForms and Lander to create marketing systems that scale beyond traditional agency services.

Salary Range: 60-70k + Bonus Depending on Experience.
