This position must be located in Montana.
The Oracle Integration Cloud Developer designs, develops, implements, and supports integrations between Oracle Cloud applications and third-party systems. This position serves as a technical subject-matter expert in Oracle Integration Cloud, integration design, data transformation, process automation, and integration standards. The role partners with Information Technology, functional teams, solution architects, vendors, and operational stakeholders to translate business requirements into reliable, secure, and scalable integration solutions that support Billings Clinic’s technology and business needs.
Essential Job Functions
- Design and develop end-to-end integration flows using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), including orchestration, adapters, and process automation.
- Architect and implement integrations across Oracle SaaS applications (ERP Cloud, HCM Cloud, SCM Cloud) and third-party systems using REST, SOAP, and file-based adapters.
- Lead the full integration lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
- Define and enforce integration standards, coding guidelines, and governance frameworks across the team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration failures, performance bottlenecks, and data transformation issues.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, solution architects, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into integration designs.
- Maintain and optimize existing OIC integrations, scheduling, error handling, and monitoring dashboards.
- Mentor and guide junior/mid-level developers on OIC development practices and Oracle platform capabilities.
- Contribute to infrastructure planning, upgrade assessments, and Oracle patch/release impact analysis.
- Document technical designs, integration specifications, and operational runbooks.
- Supports and models behaviors consistent with Billings Clinic’s mission, vision, values, code of business conduct and service expectations. Meets all mandatory organizational and departmental requirements. Maintains competency in all organizational, departmental and outside agency standards as it relates to the environment, employee, patient safety or job performance.
- Performs all other duties as assigned or as needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required. Equivalent education, certifications, and directly related experience may be considered.
Experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience developing integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), with demonstrated proficiency in OIC Generation 3 (OIC Gen 3).
- Strong proficiency in XPath, XSLT, and data mapping for complex payload transformations.
- Experience with Oracle B2B for EDI/HL7 messaging and supply chain integration scenarios.
- Familiarity with Oracle API Gateway / API Management alongside OIC.
- Exposure to hybrid integration scenarios connecting on-premises Oracle Middleware (SOA Suite, OSB) with OIC.
- Experience with CI/CD tooling for OIC (Oracle DevCS, Git-based pipelines, OIC transport/export automation).
- Knowledge of Oracle Autonomous Database (ATP/ADW) as an integration target or source.
- Understanding of Oracle Cloud security, compartments, and IAM as they relate to OIC deployments.
Certifications and Licenses
- Oracle Certification required — Oracle Application Integration Professional certification (current version, based on OIC Gen 3) is required; equivalent or successor certifications issued by Oracle University will be considered.
- Additional Oracle certifications in related domains, such as OCI Foundations Associate or OCI Developer Associate, which complement the OIC Professional path.
• Valid Montana driver’s license or the ability to obtain one within a reasonable timeframe after hire required. Must meet Billings • Clinic’s insurability requirements if driving is required for business purposes.
