The President’s Chauffeur is responsible for operating a vehicle and driving the President of Pace University between campus locations and to/from other destinations, meetings and events as required. This position also performs a variety of duties in support of the President’s Office as required.
Position Duties

Transports the President safely and on a timely basis between campus locations, and to/from other destinations as requested, adhering to traffic and safety rules.

Work collaboratively with other members of the President’s Office staff including the Chief of Staff and Executive Assistants to the President and Chief of Staff.

Transports members of the President’s leadership team safely and on a timely basis between campus locations, and to/from other destinations as requested and assigned.

Drives a university-owned vehicle, providing safe and efficient transportation to the President and University community.

Prepares and completes required paperwork, such as mileage, accident/incident reports.

Monitors the ongoing condition of the vehicle during operation and reports any malfunctions or needed repairs to the Director of Transportation.

Responsible for fueling vehicle and maintaining cleanliness through each service route assignment.

Requires full flexibility, such as weekend and evening hours as needed to meet the President’s schedule of events.

Maintains vehicle cleanliness.
Performs other such duties for the Office of the President as may be assigned from time to time. -

Position Qualifications

Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.

2+ years of professional driving experience. Prior experience as a chauffeur for an executive is preferred.

Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality when interacting with the President, senior leadership, and external constituents.

Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as needed to support the President's transportation needs.
Work Hours
Full-time position. The driver's work schedule will be determined based on the President's calendar and transportation needs.
Vacation requests and other planned time off must be coordinated around the President's schedule and approved in advance to ensure adequate coverage and continuity of service.
