EMPLOYMENT INFORMATION:
APPLICATION PROCESS: A completed City application form and supplemental questionnaire are required for this position. Applications must be complete and clearly demonstrate that the minimum qualifications are met. Copies of all required certificates must be attached to the application. All statements made on the application are subject to investigation and verification. False statements will be cause for disqualification, or discharge from employment.
TESTING PROCESS: The testing process for this position will include review of application materials, a written exam, interview panel, and a final selection interview. For positions working in positions where they come in contact with children, selected candidate will undergo pre-employment Tuberculosis (TB) testing and TB testing every four years thereafter.

EMPLOYEE BENEFITS:
Regular part-time employees will work an average of 30 hours per week.
Medical Insurance:
Employees regularly scheduled to work 30 hours or more per week will be offered health insurance under the City's medical plan. Currently the City will contribute $432.76 per month and employees have three different plans to choose from.
Retirement Benefits:
1. "Classic" PERS Members:
- Plan: 2% @ 55
- Employee Contribution Rate: 7% (Pre-Tax)
- Retirement based on single highest year
2. New PERS Members: - Plan: 2% @ 62
- Employee Contribution: 6.25% (may be adjusted annually - required to be 50% of Normal Cost as determined by CalPERS)
