Full Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Medical Room Nurse to join our team in providing exceptional patient care within a dynamic medical environment. This vital role involves prroviding professional nursing services, care coordination, assessment, treatment planning, health education, and case management services to residents while ensuring compliance with documentation and billing requirements.

Responsibilities

Provides professional nursing services, care coordination, assessment, treatment planning, health education, and case management services to residents while ensuring compliance with documentation and billing requirements.

I. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Resident Care

Conduct nursing assessments, develop care plans, provide direct care, supervise staff, and participate in treatment planning.

B. Medication and Treatment Management

Administer and monitor medications, process physician orders, and notify providers of changes.

C. Direct Services and Case Management

Coordinate services, provide education, support recovery goals, and collaborate with families and providers.

D. Documentation and Billing

Complete assessments, progress notes, care plans, and service documentation within timelines.
Maintain accurate resident records.
Accurately document billable services and meet Units of Service expectations.
Ensure compliance with SCCMH, payer, and regulatory documentation standards.

E. Teamwork and Collaboration

Participate in quality improvement, staff meetings, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

II. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

· Current California LVN or RN license ; experience in residential or behavioral health services preferred; knowledge of Title 22, HIPAA, documentation and billing requirements.

· Live Scan with clearance by the Department of Justice and/or FBI. The company must have clearance prior to commencing work.

· Medical Clearance and negative T.B. clearances.
