Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Ultrasound Technician, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your expertise in medical imaging and patient care within a collaborative environment. As an Ultrasound Technician, you will operate advanced ultrasound equipment to produce detailed images that assist practitioners in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions, with a focus on women's health, vascular, and abdominal diagnostics. Your skills will directly contribute to improved patient outcomes and the overall success of our healthcare services.

Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations including gynecological and abdominal with precision and care.
Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and adherence to safety protocols.
Accurately document patient information and imaging results using Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
Apply medical terminology and anatomy knowledge to identify abnormalities and communicate findings effectively to practitioners.
Maintain strict aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and prevent infections during procedures.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop appropriate imaging plans tailored to each patient's needs.
Educate patients about procedures, answer questions confidently, and provide compassionate care throughout the diagnostic process.

Requirements

Proven experience in medical imaging with proficiency in sonography techniques across various specialties
Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to ultrasound procedures.
Ability to operate complex medical imaging equipment including Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS).
Knowledge of operating systems for medical imaging documentation and reporting.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
Certification or licensure as an Ultrasound Technician or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care through aseptic technique and accurate diagnostics.
