Job Overview

Beale Street Blues Company is seeking an experienced Restaurant Operations Manager for our Montgomery location. We operate three restaurants within Wind Creek Casino and are opening a Sports Bar!

The Restaurant Operations Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the overall operations of our establishment, ensuring that all aspects of the business run smoothly and efficiently. This position involves overseeing staff, managing day-to-day operations, and maintaining high standards of customer service within the food industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences to our guests.

Responsibilities & minimum requirements are:

Restaurant Operations Manager will all aspects of restaurant operations
Accomplishes restaurant human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
Achieves restaurant operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer- service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.
Meets restaurant financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
Controls costs by reviewing portion control and quantities of preparation; minimizing waste; ensuring high quality of preparation.
Conduct inventories, orders products as needed, cost out menus, and help with the creativity of new beverage ideas.
Have exceptional wine knowledge.
Avoid legal challenges by conforming to the regulations of the alcoholic beverage commission.
Maximize bar profitability by ensuring portion control, monitoring accuracy of charges.
Maintains safe, secure, and healthy environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations; securing revenues; developing and implementing disaster plans; maintaining security and sprinkler systems; maintaining parking lot and walkways.
Maintains ambiance by controlling lighting, background music, live entertainment and monitoring food presentation and service.

Candidate must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, be able to pass two very thorough background checks, have full availability including 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift and be TIPs and ServSafe certified.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
