Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Lineside Operations Assistant Manager to lead and oversee critical operations at our Lineside Operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in logistics management, with the capability to lead the operation, and communicate effectively across different departments within one shift.

Duties:

Responsible for managing the overall Lineside operation, supervise all employees to ensure that the needed parts are delivered to the Customer, and communicate with outside vendors on problems, issues, and/or concerns.
Manage supervisors while evaluating/analyzing their job/workload and performance.
Spend a minimum of two hours on the warehouse floor (MBWA - Management By Walking Around).
Delivery of financial goals - work within labor budgets for regular and overtime hours; minimize loss due to accidents, property damage, and/or Worker's Compensation.
Maintain all Safety Codes. Conduct training to assure that all safety codes are being followed without exceptions. Address potential safety concerns, track all safety violations, and set guidelines for improvement.
Develop SOPs for all operational areas; follow up via audits to ensure compliance.
Lead a team of supervisors, team leaders, and team members providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
Monitor operational workflows using organizational skills to optimize time management.

Qualifications:

Proven management experience with supervising teams.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a safety-first culture.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently under pressure.
Must be energetic, have excellent performance, attendance, work ethic, and a pleasant attitude.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal; strong in Microsoft Excel; Familiarity in ERP and SAP.
Be self motivated with good interpersonal skills to deal with customers and team members.
Must be open to other duties as assigned by management.
Must possess the ability to read and comprehend verbal and written instructions, and also have sufficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Must be able to read, write, and perform basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, and multiplication. Must possess great communication skills to articulate clearly and effectively (both oral and written) for composing emails reports, and internal correspondence.
Be able to inspire their workers to be diligent and efficient.
Must be able to work flexible hours due to decisions made that impacts the profitability of the company.

Work Schedule/Hours: Sunday-Thursday (10:00pm-7:00am).

Pay Range: $71,000-$78,000

Pay: $71,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
