Inventory Coordinator

Reports To: Senior Manager, Inventory

Position Summary

The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for executing and managing inventory transactions within the company’s ERP system to ensure inventory is accurately positioned to support customer fulfillment. This role coordinates system transfers of finished goods between manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and third-party fulfillment centers while arranging transportation to ensure inventory is available where and when it is needed.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced supply chain environment. Experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP system is required.

Key Responsibilities

· Execute inventory transfers within NetSuite to support customer orders and fulfillment center inventory requirements.

· Monitor inventory levels across warehouses and fulfillment centers and proactively coordinate replenishment transfers.

· Schedule and coordinate transportation for inventory movements with carriers, freight providers, and third-party logistics (3PL) partners.

· Ensure all inventory transactions are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

· Collaborate with Supply Planning, Customer Operations, Manufacturing facilities, Warehouse Operations, and Logistics teams to maintain inventory availability.

· Track shipments and communicate delays or issues that could impact customer fulfillment.

· Reconcile inventory discrepancies related to transfers and work with warehouse teams to resolve variances.

· Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle count and inventory audit activities.

· Manage Shelf Life and FEFO inventory requirements

· Move inventory from manufacturing facilities post production to warehouse locations for storage

· Generate and distribute inventory and transfer reports as needed.

· Identify opportunities to improve inventory movement processes and system efficiencies.

· Support month-end inventory activities and reporting.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

· 2–5 years of experience in inventory control, supply chain, logistics, or operations.

· Experience using NetSuite or another ERP system (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).

· Experience coordinating transportation and working with freight carriers or third-party logistics providers.

· Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

· Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

· Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience in the beverage, food, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or manufacturing industry.

· Experience working with multiple warehouses or fulfillment centers.

· Knowledge of inventory management best practices and supply chain operations.

Success in This Role

· Maintain accurate inventory positioning across the distribution network.

· Execute timely inventory transfers that support customer service goals.

· Coordinate efficient transportation to minimize delays and costs.

· Build strong relationships with internal teams, warehouses, and logistics partners.

· Continuously identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
