Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee daily kitchen operations. In this pivotal role, you will ensure exceptional food quality, maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness, and deliver outstanding customer service. Your leadership will drive efficiency, foster a positive team environment, and uphold the restaurant’s reputation for excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise and management skills in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused setting.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistent quality.
Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs.
Supervise and train kitchen staff on food safety standards, proper food handling, and efficient cooking techniques.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety management practices and sanitation standards.
Lead shift management by coordinating staff schedules, assigning tasks, and maintaining smooth workflow during busy hours.
Conduct staff interviews, performance evaluations, and ongoing training to develop a motivated and skilled team.
Monitor financial performance through profit and loss analysis, budgeting, and cost control measures.
Foster a positive hospitality environment by promoting teamwork, excellent customer service, and professional communication.

Experience

Proven management experience in a restaurant environment with a strong background in food preparation and cooking.
Demonstrated supervisory skills with experience in staff training, team leadership, and managing hospitality teams.
Prior experience in fine dining or casual dining settings is highly desirable.
Familiarity with food safety standards, food production processes, inventory control, and food industry best practices.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Excellent communication skills for effective managerial oversight, team training, interviewing candidates, and customer interactions.
