Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee daily kitchen operations. This role is vital in ensuring exceptional food quality, maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness, and delivering outstanding customer service. The Kitchen Manager will be responsible for managing food preparation, inventory control, staff training, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Responsibilities

Supervise all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality.
Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability.
Oversee the implementation of food safety practices in compliance with health regulations and company standards.
Lead staff training initiatives to develop culinary skills, improve team performance, and promote a positive work environment.
Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reporting.
Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff efficiently to meet customer demand during peak hours while maintaining labor costs.
Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and assist with interviewing and onboarding new team members.
Maintain cleanliness standards in the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and sanitized.
Analyze profit and loss reports to identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
Foster a hospitality-focused environment that emphasizes excellent customer service and team leadership.

Experience

Proven experience managing kitchen operations within quick service or fast food restaurants, with a strong background in food preparation and cooking.
Demonstrated supervisory experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting, including staff training and team management.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for transaction processing and reporting.
Experience with inventory control, food safety management, budgeting, and profit/loss analysis.
Prior involvement in casual dining or fine dining environments is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of food handling procedures, catering or banquet experience is a plus.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively in high-pressure situations.
