Seasonal Tax Manager / Remote

Make a meaningful impact during tax season while enjoying the flexibility of a fully remote schedule. Our client is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to serve as a critical quality-control resource, ensuring accurate and compliant tax filings while helping a growing public accounting practice deliver exceptional client service during its busiest time of year.

Compensation

Up to $80/hour, commensurate with experience

What You’ll Be Doing

Review tax returns prepared by Associates for accuracy and compliance
Evaluate individual, partnership, S-Corporation, and C-Corporation returns
Identify issues, risks, and opportunities before partner review
Ensure adherence to tax regulations and firm quality standards
Communicate review notes and technical guidance to team members
Manage a high-volume review workload during peak tax season
Support partners by serving as a key review layer in the tax process

What You’ll Need to be Considered

5+ years of public accounting tax experience required
Active CPA license required
Experience reviewing complex individual and business tax returns
Experience with UltraTax, CCH Axcess, or similar public accounting tax software
Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
Strong technical tax review and quality-control capabilities
