Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and organized Salon & Spa Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the salon/spa, providing exceptional customer service, and assisting with various administrative tasks. Individual with strong communication skills, a passion for the beauty industry, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Seeking team member with an energetic personality, reliable work ethic and flexibilty with work schedules.

AME Salon & Spa is looking for a full-time or part-time person who loves to be with people and can offer our clients excellent customer service. Computer skills are a must- this person will be answering the telephone, scheduling and confirming appointments, entering data, checking clients in and out at the register, arranging group spa parties, and more.

AME Salon & Spa has been awarded Best of the Main Line. Check out our website www.amesalonandspa.com and see all that we offer our guests. Interested candidates will need to be available some evenings and weekends. Salon/Spa experience is a plus;knowledge and understanding of Meevo by Harms Software is helpful.

Responsibilities

Greet clients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
Manage appointment scheduling and ensure optimal use of salon resources.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties.
Maintain an organized and welcoming salon environment through effective merchandising and stocking of products.
Assist clients and promote retail sales through upselling techniques.
Address client inquiries and resolve any issues promptly while maintaining excellent phone etiquette.

Experience

Previous experience in a retail or salon environment is preferred, with a focus on customer service.
Familiarity with POS systems for processing transactions efficiently.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
