Intelligent IT Designs is a small business known for providing high quality IT support and IT services to the Hudson Valley Business Community.

We are seeking an entry IT support/cyber security specialist. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about IT and are hungry to learn and grow. If you do not want to be an IT beast, please do not apply. We are only looking for people who want to be the best IT pros in our area and are willing to work super hard to get there. If that is you, we can help you.

Be Careful, Choose wisely:

When you work at a big business or for in-house IT, you will do the same work over and over. Things will be new for a while and you will learn stuff but that will quickly stop as in-house IT staff generally do the same boring things over and over. At first it will be interesting, but after a while it will become mundane. Additionally, big business IT teams will put you, as a brand new IT person, on their help desk and they will keep you there until you “die”, totally stagnating your career and stifling your potential. Some IT shops like ours where you work with many different businesses is a much better long term growth opportunity.

What makes us different?

At Intelligent IT Designs, our IT team works with many different customers and since each customer is different, you will learn the technology at every business quickly. For example, our team members have to support multiple firewalls such as SonicWall, Fortinet, WatchGuard, Sophos and more for our many business clients. When it comes to servers, we have to support on prem servers, cloud servers and businesses without servers. For cloud email we support Microsoft 365 and Google. For hosting, we support and manage AWS and Azure. And dont get me started on our security stack that consists of many different tools. And our list of technologies that we work with goes on and on. At other places, you might support one of the above or none. We operate in a fast-paced environment where we have to work fast and figure things out quickly. The knowledge you would get from working with us would be like drinking from a fire hose, building your skills fast. Working with us is the fastest way to grow your skills, which in turn increases your value.
