Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Office Assistant/Receptionist to be a welcoming face and efficient organizer within our busy office environment. This role is essential in ensuring smooth daily operations, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting administrative functions. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills to manage front desk responsibilities and assist with various office tasks. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a professional setting while developing valuable skills in office administration.

Duties

Greet customers warmly, ensuring a positive first impression
Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls accurately and professionally
Handle front desk operations, including scheduling appointments
Perform data entry, filing, and document proofreading to ensure accuracy and organization
Utilize Microsoft Office Suite for correspondence, reports, and record-keeping
Support office management tasks such as calendar management, supply ordering, and basic bookkeeping including Accounts Receivable & Payable.
Tracking reports and advertising on various platforms
Inventory Management
Provide customer support via phone or email, addressing inquiries with professionalism and courtesy
Maintain a clean and organized reception area to promote a welcoming environment

Requirements

Proven experience in office administration or clerical roles with strong organizational skills
Excellent computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to manage time efficiently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
Prior experience with multi-line phone systems and front desk operations preferred
Strong customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and interpersonal communication abilities
Experience with bookkeeping is a plus but not mandatory
Knowledge of the agriculture industry can be beneficial for this role
Willingness to learn and work as a team

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
