About Us
Chipeta Lodge Resort + Spa is a boutique mountain retreat in the heart of Colorado’s San Juan Mountains. We offer our guests a serene, restorative experience with exceptional hospitality from check-in to check-out. We are seeking a detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our front desk team and ensure smooth overnight operations, accurate end-of-day reporting, and a welcoming environment for all guests.

Position Overview
The Night Auditor is responsible for balancing daily financial transactions, assisting guests with late check-ins or early departures, and maintaining security and guest satisfaction during overnight hours.

What You’ll Do

Greet and assist guests with check-ins, check-outs, and inquiries during overnight shifts
Process end-of-day financial reports, balance accounts, and reconcile discrepancies
Prepare and distribute daily reports for management
Monitor property security and conduct regular property walks during shift
Respond promptly to guest requests, emergencies, or concerns
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the front desk and lobby area
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance for next-day operations
Ensure all guest records and transactions are accurate and confidential

What We’re Looking For

Previous hotel front desk or night audit experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Proficient with computers; experience with property management systems a plus
Ability to remain alert and professional throughout overnight hours

Physical Requirements

Must be able to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs
