Overview

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient food production during all service periods.
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes with precision, creativity, and attention to detail, maintaining consistency across all menu items.
Oversee food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations to guarantee a safe dining environment for guests and staff.
Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs.
Assist in menu planning and development by contributing innovative ideas that align with culinary trends and guest preferences.
Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment focused on excellence and continuous improvement.
Coordinate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and ensure accurate food handling procedures.
Oversee catering events and banquet services, ensuring timely preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to sanitation standards at all times.
Support shift management duties by delegating tasks effectively and ensuring all team members perform their roles efficiently.

Skills

Proven experience in fine dining environments with a strong background in food production and restaurant management.
Demonstrated supervisory experience leading culinary teams with effective leadership skills.
Extensive banquet experience with the ability to manage large-scale food service operations seamlessly.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards, dietary requirements, and hygiene practices within the food industry.
Skilled in inventory management, control procedures, and cost-effective food handling techniques.
Excellent cooking skills across various cuisines along with menu planning expertise.
Experience in catering services, shift management, and kitchen operations within a hospitality setting.
Ability to thrive under pressure in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
Effective team management skills combined with a passion for mentoring staff to achieve their best.
