About the Position

This is a leadership role for a true craftsman. Full-time is preferred, but we'd rather find the right person and build the right structure around them than rush a hire. You'll report directly to the owner and serve as the technical authority on the floor.

Compensation: $29 - $42 per hour depending on experience, plus incentives. Benefits include paid holidays, PTO, healthcare, and ongoing paid training.

Work is a mix of in-shop and mobile service throughout the Colorado Springs area.

We’re looking for a Chief Auto Glass Technician: someone motivated by excellence who thrives in an environment that values precision, professionalism, and pride in the craft. You take ownership, you lead by example, and you love seeing customers drive away with confidence.

What You’ll Do

Lead the Shop

Serve as the technical authority on the floor. Make the call on difficult installs, questionable glass, and go/no-go calibrations.
Step in on tough customer situations and turn them into wins.
Own quality control across all jobs, not just your own.
Help shape SOPs, tooling decisions, and training standards as we grow.
Mentor, train, and inspire other technicians, helping them elevate their technical and professional skills.

Master the Craft

Perform expert auto glass repairs and replacements on all vehicle makes and models, including high-end and ADAS-equipped vehicles.
Cut and fabricate flat glass for specialty applications.
Conduct ADAS calibrations using the latest technologies (Autel, AirPro, OEM targets) that meet or exceed OEM and insurance standards.
Diagnose complex glass installation and fitment challenges with craftsmanship and care.
Complete pre and post inspections using tablet-based technology.
Deliver a five-star customer experience: walk customers through the process, explain repairs and calibrations, and hand back the keys with confidence.
Uphold AGSC safety standards, treating every vehicle as if it were your own.

What You Bring

10+ years of hands-on professional auto glass experience (replacement, repair, and calibration).
Experience using Autel, AirPro/Auggie, or similar ADAS calibration systems.
Strong understanding of OEM calibration requirements and safety protocols.
Experience cutting glass strongly preferred.
Comfort working with insurance claims and documenting jobs to insurance and ADAS billing standards.
AGSC Master certification preferred, or ability to obtain it within 6 months of hiring with our support.
Attention to detail and pride in workmanship. You never cut corners.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
A team-oriented attitude and a genuine desire to be part of a premium, high-performance shop.
Ability to safely lift and handle windshields and glass, and to work outdoors on mobile jobs in varying weather.
