The Nursing Director – Eye Care Services will oversee operations within the Ophthalmology department, also known as Eye Care Services, Vision Services, the Eye Institute, and Specialty Eye Care. This dynamic Eye Center delivers high-volume, precision-based outpatient procedures in a modern surgical setting, providing the benefits of specialty surgical leadership in a modern outpatient environment while offering an excellent quality-of-life opportunity in a desirable Colorado community. Reporting to executive surgical leadership, the Director of Clinical Operations – Ophthalmology will guide nurse managers, charge nurses, and a skilled perioperative team while fostering collaboration among surgeons, anesthesia providers, sterile processing professionals, and administrative leaders. This Nursing Director – Eye Care Services will champion a culture of safety, accountability, and professional growth, mentoring friendly and highly engaged nurses within a diverse, interdisciplinary healthcare team. Responsibilities include strategic planning, budgeting, staffing optimization, quality improvement initiatives, regulatory oversight, and advancing evidence-based ophthalmic nursing practice.
