Your job description will be, but is not limited to, as follows:

Load and unload freight both manually and with the use of forklifts and pallet jacks.
Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information.
Read travelers or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
Stack cargo in locations as directed, using pallets or cargo boards.
Record numbers of units handled or moved, using daily production sheets.
Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.
Ship materials using UPS, FedEx, DHL online accounts.
Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
Understand shipping and receiving logs and systems and necessary safety precautions.
Understanding and awareness of chemicals received and be HAZCOM/HAZMAT trained.
Ensure that all in-process documentation is filled out completely and correctly.
Report any QC issues.
Maintain a clean and clutter-free work area.
Return all tools and \ or equipment after use.
Immediately report any damaged or malfunctioning equipment and/or piece of equipment.
Any other task assigned by manager.
This position is a full time, 40.00 hours a week position, 8.00 hours work day from Monday to Friday, OR Friday to Monday. In the position you will operate forklift after receiving your training and certification. The position directly reports to the Shipping and Receiving Manager.
After submitting your application, you will be invited to an in-person interview on Currently, we are hiring for several full-time vacancies in several shifts and schedules (5/8's, 4/10's & 3/12's – week and weekend shifts, day and night shifts). Company operations are currently from Monday to Sunday 24 hours a day, 7 days week. Five shifts are available (morning, midday, and night shifts for both Weekday and Weekend positions). We are hiring for several shifts in several departments. Pay differential applies per shift. Company benefits apply after successfully passing the introductory period.
