Full Job Description

The Mitigation/Project Manager is responsible for overseeing restoration and reconstruction projects from initiation through completion. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to Sevco’s quality and customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage fire, smoke, water, and mold mitigation projects from start to finish.
Coordinate crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials to ensure projects stay on schedule.
Conduct site inspections, assess damage, and develop mitigation plans.
Communicate regularly with homeowners, property managers, and insurance adjusters.
Prepare project documentation, estimates, job notes, and progress reports.
Monitor budgets, job costs, and project profitability.
Ensure all work meets company standards, industry guidelines, and safety regulations.
Respond to emergency calls as part of an on-call rotation when required.
Train, mentor, and support field technicians.

Qualifications:

Experience in fire and water restoration project management preferred.
Knowledge of mitigation procedures, drying equipment, and restoration techniques.
IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT, AMRT, or equivalent) are a plus.
Experience with restoration software such as Xactimate, DASH, Encircle, or similar is preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
