Full Job Description

Here at our family owned small business, we are looking for a part-time or full-time kitchen staff. Whether you want to be dishwasher/janitorial or fry cook or both!

As a fry cook, your responsibilities will be to help with food prep and correctly frying and preparing various dishes. This is not limited to just frying as you will also be responsible for helping the chef prepare other dishes by cooking with the wok as well as doing food prep such as cutting vegetables, slicing meat, and plating dishes. You must be willing to learn to use the wok.

As a dishwasher/janitorial your duties are to keep the flow of dishes moving from dirty to clean and to return the clean dishes to their place for our servers and kitchen staff. Additional duties include janitorial work such as keeping the kitchen clean and chemical cleaning the kitchen with the head chef at end of day. Mopping the floor and properly sorting/disposing of trash each day are part of janitorial duties.

We require that your experience be that you’ve worked in a Chinese restaurant before and have experience with Chinese food items. You must be able to keep up with a fast-paced environment. All employees must wear non-slip shoes, no exceptions. You do not need to know how to speak Mandarin but it is definitely a bonus if you can!

You must be available up to 5 days a week for a full day shift of up to 9 hours a day. We will pay $20/hour. Full time and part time are welcome!

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
