Full Job Description

Registered Drug & Alcohol Technician (RADT)

We are seeking a highly organized, and detail-oriented Registered Drug and Alcohol Technician (RADT) to join our adolescent behavioral health and recovery program serving youth ages 12–17. This office-based position is ideal for a professional who is passionate about supporting adolescents in recovery while contributing to the daily operations of a dynamic treatment environment.

The successful candidate will possess strong administrative and organizational skills, be comfortable working within electronic medical record (EMR) systems, and have the ability to assist with group programming, client engagement, and overall program support. This role requires flexibility, professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced behavioral health setting.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM

Key Responsibilities Client Care & Program Support

Provide direct on-site support to adolescents ages 12–17 participating in behavioral health and recovery services.
Assist with client check-ins, daily attendance, group transitions, and overall program flow.
Support clients throughout programming by addressing needs, promoting engagement, and maintaining a safe and structured environment.
Serve as a positive role model and mentor for youth navigating recovery and behavioral health challenges.

Group Facilitation & Educational Support

Assist in facilitating psychoeducational and recovery-focused groups under clinical supervision.
Support therapists and counselors with group preparation, materials, assignments, and activities.
Distribute, collect, and review educational and therapeutic assignments to ensure completion and participation.
Encourage positive group participation and adherence to program expectations.

Administrative & Documentation Duties

Utilize Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to complete daily documentation, treatment notes, incident reports, and internal communications.
Maintain accurate and organized client records in compliance with confidentiality regulations and healthcare standards.
Manage communication logs, appointment tracking, and administrative reports.
Assist with data entry, filing, scheduling coordination, and other administrative tasks as assigned.
Demonstrate the ability to perform a variety of administrative functions while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Drug Testing & Compliance

Conduct and document urinalysis (UA) drug testing procedures in accordance with agency policies and regulatory requirements.
Ensure accurate collection, tracking, documentation, and reporting of drug testing results.

Office Operations & Facility Maintenance

Monitor and maintain inventory of office supplies, urinalysis materials, and program resources.
Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and professional treatment environment.
Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of offices, group rooms, restrooms, and common areas.
Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and facility cleanliness standards.

Team Collaboration

Collaborate closely with therapists, counselors, case managers, and leadership staff to support treatment goals and coordinated care.
Participate in team meetings, staff trainings, and program development initiatives.
Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and families in a professional and supportive manner.

QualificationsRequired

Registered Alcohol and Drug Technician (RADT) Certification in good standing.
Strong administrative, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, documentation, and data entry.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Current TB Test.
Current First Aid/CPR Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).

Preferred

Experience working with adolescents in behavioral health, substance use treatment, residential treatment, or recovery settings.
Experience assisting with or facilitating educational, psychoeducational, or recovery-focused groups.
Knowledge of adolescent development, addiction recovery principles, group dynamics, and behavioral health best practices.
Ability to maintain professionalism, boundaries, and composure in a fast-paced treatment environment.

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
