Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, tarts, and confections with precision and artistry.
Decorate cakes and desserts using advanced cake decorating techniques to ensure visual appeal.
Package baked goods attractively for retail display or catering orders, maintaining product integrity.
Assist in food production and food preparation tasks to support overall kitchen operations.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene by following proper food handling procedures.
Support catering events by preparing pastry items according to specifications and ensuring timely delivery.
Collaborate with team members to uphold cleanliness, organization, and efficiency within the pastry section.

Qualifications

Proven pastry experience with a strong portfolio of baked goods and desserts.
Skilled in cake decorating, knife skills, baking techniques, and food presentation.
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices.
Experience in food production, kitchen operations, or restaurant environments preferred.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests.
