We are seeking an experienced CNC Operator / Manager to oversee day-to-day machining operations and lead a team in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating and supervising Haas, Mori Seiki, and Nakamura CNC machines, along with strong leadership, troubleshooting, and quality control skills.
Responsibilities:
· Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines, including Haas, Mori Seiki, and Nakamura equipment.
· Supervise and support CNC operators to ensure production goals are met.
· Review blueprints, job travelers, and technical drawings to determine machining requirements.
· Perform machine setups, offsets, tool changes, tooling stock, and program adjustments as needed.
· Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure quality and tolerances.
· Troubleshoot machine, tooling, and process issues to minimize downtime.
· Coordinate workflow, schedules, and priorities with production and maintenance teams.
· Maintain a safe, clean, and organized shop floor.
· Train new operators and support continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications:
· 3+ years of CNC machining experience, preferably with Haas, Mori Seiki, and Nakamura machines.
· Prior leadership, supervisory, or production management experience.
· Strong understanding of CNC setup, offsets, tooling, and machining processes.
· Ability to read blueprints and use precision inspection tools.
· Familiarity with G-code and machine troubleshooting.
· Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to lift, stand, and work in a manufacturing environment for extended periods.
Preferred Skills:
· Experience managing a team in a production setting.
· Background in both turning and milling operations.
· Experience with quality control and process improvement.
· Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures
