Location: Morgantown, WV

Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a local law firm to recruit a highly organized and detail-oriented professional for Legal administrative and support positions.

This opportunity is a great fit for an experienced Administrative Assistant, Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary, or Paralegal. The firm is open to candidates with strong administrative backgrounds as well as those with paralegal-level skills and experience.

What You'll Do

Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys and legal staff
Prepare, format, proofread, and edit correspondence and legal documents
Review documents and information and prepare clear, concise summaries
Maintain accurate and organized electronic and physical files
Assist with scheduling, correspondence, document management, and other office functions
Conduct basic research and gather information as needed
Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, courts, and other parties
Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism

What We're Looking For

Strong administrative and organizational experience
Exceptional written communication skills, including grammar, spelling, proofreading, and editing
Ability to read complex or detailed information, identify key points, and communicate them clearly in writing
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications
Professional communication skills and a high level of discretion
Previous law firm or legal office experience is a plus, but not required

Paralegal-Level Candidates Encouraged to Apply

Candidates with experience in paralegal, legal assistant, legal secretary, litigation support, document review, legal research, or case management are strongly encouraged to apply.

Candidates with strong writing and analytical backgrounds—including paralegals, legal assistants, English/communications graduates, or experienced administrative professionals—are encouraged to apply.

A degree or education in paralegal studies, English, communications, or a related field is also a plus.

Pay will be based on experience, qualifications, and level of position.

Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour
