Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapist to join our team in providing high-quality behavioral health services. In this role, you will work directly with children and individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder, to implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based ABA therapy protocols. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster meaningful progress in clients’ communication, social skills, and daily living abilities. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact while gaining valuable experience in behavioral health and special education.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, feeding, and toileting to promote independence and skill development
Collect and analyze behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments
Implement individualized behavior management strategies as outlined in care plans for clients with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities
Conduct direct behavioral therapy sessions in various settings, including home-based environments and school settings
Maintain detailed medical documentation, client records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards
Communicate effectively with clients’ families, caregivers, teachers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure consistency and support across environments
Support clients’ behavioral health goals by applying principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and behavior management techniques

Skills

Experience working with children or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, particularly autism spectrum disorder
Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management strategies, and implementing ABA therapy protocols
Strong data collection skills for tracking client progress and adjusting treatment plans accordingly
Familiarity with special education practices, medical terminology, and medical documentation standards
Ability to assist with ADLs and support clients’ independence in daily routines
Excellent client communication skills, demonstrating patience, empathy, and professionalism
Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of client information
