About the job Landscape Draftsman

We are currently seeking an Landscape Draftsman looking to bring their superior CAD drafting skills to our seasoned team of designers.

For 20 years Edward Clark Landscape Design has had the privelage of designing the exterior elements of the finest homes in NJ. From sprawling country estates in Far Hills to prestine properties in Short Hills our team of talented designers is sought after by the most deiscerning home owners and renowed builders.

You must be able to work under pressure, meeting deadlines, and be proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp. Must have a strong work ethic and work well with the rest of our Landscape Designers, and be passionate about landscape design and construction yourself.

Duties/Requirements:

A wizard in AutoCAD & SketchUp
Knowledge in landscape design and construction, including plants, irrigation, hardscapes, outdoor masonry
Able to produce completed Construction Documents (Working Drawings) that the crew can then build off of
Working with all of our landscape designers, providing take-offs, doing CAD revisions for plans, doing 3D renderings
Ability to get along well with others, and interact with landscape designers to provide correct renderings
Can perform under pressure and hit deadlines for client meetings
Great computer skills
