Full Job Description

IM=X Pilates and Fitness is looking for rockstar Part Time sales associate for our Upscale Fitness Studio in East Hanover that wants to enhance our customer experience and help guide others to achieve their fittest and healthiest selves yet. We have 3 locations, Wyckoff, Westwood and East Hanover, we can potentially placed the ideal candidate to the easiest commuting distance.

What sets us apart from others studios is that we pride ourselves in providing white glove service with top-notch workouts designed for each client's goals, while also being backed by the science of anatomy and physiology

POSITION:

The purpose of the Sales Associate is to assist the General Manager/Ownership with new membership sales by bringing new members to the studio and booking them into Introductory Sessions. The Sales Associate also assists with retaining current members. Pilates fitness knowledge or background is preferred but not required. THIS IS NOT A WINTER NOR SUMMER BREAK POSITION!

REQUIREMENTS:

Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills required
Goal-oriented with an ability to achieve sales in memberships, retail, private training, and teacher training
Ability to learn and use the Mind and Body software system
Ability to stand or sit for up to 6 hours throughout the workday
Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication skills via in person, phone and email
Must be able to lift at least 15lbs.
Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Must have proficient computer skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Execute sales process of lead generation, follow up, and close
Conduct tours of the facility while establishing a relationship and targeting individual’s needs and wants
Studio cleanliness (cleaning bathrooms, front desk common areas, vacuum, garbage etc)
Maintain acceptable level of personal sales production
Emphasize and enforce objectives of the club as a fitness and wellness provider
Present available services to current or prospective members
Book quality appointments to achieve monthly sales quota
Participate in special events (health fairs, grand openings, marathons, and community and hospital events) to promote the club
Assumes responsibility for developing selling skills
Other duties as assigned

HOURS:

-Thursday 4-8 pm

-Sundays 8 am to 1 pm

total=10 possibilities for more hours shortly after starting.
