Performance Marketer
Summertown Metals is seeking an experienced Performance Marketer to lead the planning, execution, and optimization of our paid advertising efforts.
This role will be responsible for generating qualified leads, improving campaign performance, managing advertising budgets, and ensuring marketing investments produce measurable business results across digital and traditional channels. The position will also support the marketing needs of the assigned local branch and serve as a connection between local branch leadership and the broader regional marketing strategy.
The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and comfortable managing multiple campaigns, platforms, vendors, budgets, markets, and local marketing initiatives while continuously testing and improving performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, launch, manage, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads, YouTube, display networks, and remarketing platforms.
- Develop campaign strategies designed to generate qualified leads and support company growth objectives.
- Plan and execute traditional advertising initiatives, including billboards, radio, OTT/CTV, print advertising, sponsorships, and other media placements.
- Allocate advertising budgets across platforms, markets, campaigns, and business divisions.
- Monitor campaign performance and make ongoing adjustments to improve results and budget efficiency.
- Oversee conversion tracking, campaign attribution, and marketing analytics.
- Ensure tracking systems accurately measure leads, conversions, customer acquisition, and marketing-attributed opportunities.
- Coordinate with media vendors, advertising representatives, and agency partners.
- Review media proposals, placement opportunities, audience information, and campaign reports.
- Test new advertising channels, creative approaches, audience strategies, and campaign formats.
- Collaborate with Brand and Content Marketing to amplify key campaigns, promotions, and company messaging.
- Partner with sales teams to evaluate lead quality and identify opportunities to improve targeting.
- Prepare performance reports and communicate results, challenges, and recommended improvements to leadership.
- Serve as a liaison between local branch leadership and the broader regional marketing strategy.
- Work with branch leadership to identify local advertising needs, priorities, promotions, events, and market opportunities.
- Help coordinate, prepare, set up, and represent the company at assigned local branch events.
- Coordinate event-related advertising, signage, displays, printed materials, promotional items, and vendor support.
- Own and maintain the assigned local branch marketing budget.
- Track local marketing expenses and complete monthly budget reconciliation.
- Ensure branch advertising and marketing expenses remain within approved budgets.
- Provide branch leadership and regional marketing leadership with clear budget and performance reporting.
- Stay current on changes to advertising platforms, privacy requirements, attribution practices, and media trends.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Professional experience managing paid digital advertising campaigns.
- Hands-on experience with Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager.
- Experience managing advertising budgets and optimizing campaigns based on performance.
- Strong understanding of lead generation, conversion tracking, remarketing, and audience targeting.
- Experience using marketing analytics and attribution tools.
- Ability to analyze campaign data and turn findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, vendors, deadlines, markets, and budgets.
- Ability to communicate effectively with branch leadership, internal teams, media representatives, and outside partners.
- Understanding of how marketing performance connects to lead quality, sales activity, and revenue.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate reporting and budget reconciliation.
- Willingness to attend, set up, and support local events as needed, including occasional evening or weekend events.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with YouTube, display, programmatic, or remarketing campaigns.
- Experience managing OTT/CTV advertising.
- Experience planning traditional media, including radio, outdoor, print, and sponsorships.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, CRM reporting, call tracking, and dashboard tools.
- Experience managing and reconciling local or regional marketing budgets.
- Experience supporting branch events, community engagement, sponsorships, or local-market advertising.
- Experience in construction, manufacturing, homebuilding, building materials, or another lead-driven industry.
- Experience managing advertising across multiple locations, markets, or business divisions.
