Compounder - Night Shift

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Compounder to join our Night Shift Compounding Team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on manufacturing work, take pride in producing high-quality products, and thrive in a collaborative team environment.

Night Shift employees receive a 15% shift differential in addition to their base pay.
Reporting to the Compounding Manager, Compounders are responsible for accurately manufacturing batches according to approved formulas, specifications, and production schedules. Our ideal candidate is quality-minded, safety-focused, dependable, and possesses strong problem-solving skills and a positive team-oriented attitude.
Essential Responsibilities
- Manufacture batches according to approved formulas and manufacturing instructions.
- Accurately weigh and add raw materials while following established procedures.
- Complete production documentation and batch records with a high degree of accuracy.
- Monitor mixing processes to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Perform equipment cleaning and sanitization as required.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Warehouse, and Planning teams to meet production goals.
- Identify and communicate process improvements that support efficiency, quality, and safety.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic chemistry, food science, cosmetic manufacturing, or related processes preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Above-average reading, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
- Occasionally lift materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Comfortable working around hot pours, fragrances, perfumes, and other manufacturing materials on a daily basis.
- Normal hearing and vision, including the ability to distinguish colors.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
