Full Job Description

Precise Products Co. Is seeking an experienced CNC Milling programmer to fill a role in our engineering department in order to program and process jobs through our Haas, Matsuura & Mazak milling centers. Precise Products Co. was established in 1956 and is an employee owned company that tailors to the aerospace manufacturing industry specializing in complex tight tolerance machined parts. Precise offers competitive pay and benefits as well as a great work environment. We are located in North Minneapolis at 1201 Plymouth Ave.

Job Duties include but are not limited to :
Programming parts from blue prints and solid models utilizing GibbsCam. Create setup sheets and sketches using Solidworks. Write a Manufacturing Process to include all work instructions, setup sheets and tool lists that will take a part from start to finish. Create job routings via JobBoss software. Write Purchase orders for outside services such as plating and other finishes. Determine manufacturing tolerances to allow for plating build up that are incorporated into the manufacturing process and programs. Design fixturing and functional gaging when needed for the manufacture of a given part. Engineering is responsible for overseeing jobs from when they are assigned until they ship including interacting with customers periodically. Must have a willingness to work as a team when needed but must also be able to problem solve on their own. Candidate will need to posses a high attention to detail as well as be highly motivated while striving for excellence in this position. Must be able to work at a desk as 80 to 90% of the job will be working at your desk in an office enviroment.

Qualifications include but are not limited to the following:
CAM programming experience is required with at least 5 years of experience preferred
GibbsCam programming experience (not required but strongly preferred)

Hypermill programming experience (not required but strongly preferred)
Programming & setup experience with at least 5 years of previous experience is strongly preferred
Multi Axis milling experience is strongly preferred
Strong Knowledge of tooling both turning and milling
Must have basic computer skills
Solidworks experience not required but is helpful
Microsoft Word
JobBoss Experience is helpful
Haas, Matsuura, Mazak, Citizen, Mori Seiki setup experience is helpful
Previous aerospace experience is helpful
Must have a high attention to detail
Strong problem solving skills
