Full Job Description

Overview
CT Tech (Radiology) travel assignment in Mount Clemens, MI. Start date: 08/17/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,425-$2,473 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0. Shift: 11:00 AM–9:30 PM, four days per week. This travel opportunity is in a hospital setting and offers a temporary assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

On-call weekends: every other weekend

Responsibilities

Set up and monitor CT equipment for each patient; transfer and position patients using safe lifting techniques; apply immobilization devices as needed.
Verify patient identification and collect pertinent clinical information, including known allergies and medical history.
Prepare and administer IV contrast as required by protocol under Radiologist guidance.
Acquire and develop CT images; ensure proper electronic/digital image capture, storage, transfer, and archival for the patient file.
Coordinate daily patient scheduling in cooperation with the work-room technician; maintain image quality and perform equipment calibration and quality control per department guidelines.
Monitor patients for adverse reactions, manage emergencies including CPR when necessary, and uphold safety standards for patients and staff.
Assist Radiologists and other physicians with specialized radiological procedures, and review supporting clinical data to aid diagnosis.
Maintain department cleanliness, inventory levels, and provide guidance to new staff as needed; participate in quality improvement activities.

Requirements

CT technologist experience: 2+ years of CT experience (required)
Equipment experience: Philips CT systems (required)
Certifications: BLS; ARRT radiography/CT certification (required)
Traveler experience: preferred
Ability to work the listed shift and travel assignment; able to adapt to a fast-paced imaging environment
