Full Job Description

Nautical One Marine Center, Florida’s newest marine dealership is seeking to add superior talent to its team. Opening Fall 2026, we are now adding team members to prepare for the opening. Located just outside Winter Park, on I4, our team is excited to launch this state of the art dealership. Our Senior Management team has decades of experience and focus on creating a premier work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the first impression of Nautical One Marine Center by greeting customers, guests, vendors, and business partners in a professional, attentive and enthusiastic manner.
Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and professionally while providing exceptional customer service.
Respond to general customer inquiries regarding sales, service, financing, parts, accessories, and dealership operations.
Welcome walk-in customers and ensure they are promptly connected with the appropriate sales, service, parts, or management team member.
Maintain a professional, organized, and inviting reception area, showroom, and customer waiting areas.
Assist the Sales Department with customer paperwork, delivery files, purchase agreements, financing documentation, registrations, and administrative support.
Assist the Service Department with repair orders, customer communication, service scheduling support, warranty paperwork, and customer file maintenance.
Assist the Accounting Department with filing, scanning, data entry, accounts receivable support, accounts payable support, and general administrative tasks.
Assist with vehicle, boat, trailer, and inventory file management.
Prepare and organize customer documents for electronic filing and record retention.
Support all departments as needed to ensure a positive customer experience.
Provide hospitality services to customers including refreshments and maintaining customer comfort areas.
Maintain a positive, professional, and energetic attitude while representing the dealership.
Perform all duties with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, professionalism, teamwork, and operational excellence.

Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year prior experience as a receptionist, sales, retail, administrative assistant, office assistant, customer service, hospitality, dealership, or professional office environment.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Positive, outgoing, energetic, and friendly personality.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities efficiently.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
Strong computer, phone, and office technology skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced customer-focused environment.
Strong problem-solving abilities and professional judgment.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.

Preferred Experience:

Boat ownership or boating lifestyle familiarity.
Automotive, RV, powersports, or marine industry experience.
Customer service or hospitality industry experience.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout the dealership during the workday.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
Ability to use computers, telephones, printers, scanners, and office equipment for extended periods.
Ability to walk the dealership property and assist customers throughout the showroom and service areas.
Ability to occasionally work evenings, weekends, dealership events, and boat shows.

At Nautical One Marine Center, our Receptionist & Office Assistant is often the first and last person a customer interacts with during their visit. This position plays a critical role in creating an exceptional customer experience by providing professional communication, administrative support, and hospitality services across the Sales, Service, Parts, and Accounting departments.

This position is ideal for a highly organized, positive, energetic, and customer-focused professional who enjoys working with people, supporting multiple departments, and contributing to a fast-growing organization dedicated to excellence.

· Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday 8AM–3PM, Thursday & Friday 8AM-7PM. OFF Saturday & Sundays

· Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 1PM-7PM, Saturday 9AM-5PM, Sunday 11AM-4PM. OFF Thursdays & Fridays.
