Full Job Description

Awning Installer – construction experience required!

At CTA we want to help people rise to their full potential and look forward to coming to work. This opportunity is on our Residential Install Team so you must be a people-person and able to provide great customer service.

Our Awning Installers are responsible for the repair, maintenance and the installation of all Charlotte Tent and Awning products assigned. Your duties will require daily travel to and from sites and occasionally overnight stays are necessary. (a per diem is provided)

Maintenance of company trucks and tools.
Confirming site conditions and measurements as they relate to specified drawings.
Coordinating with General Contractors, Supers or Homeowners for general instructions and requirements for on-site installs.
Ability to field measure, document and update data for specific project installation.
Using hand and power tools.
Comfortable working with heights - using ladders and lifts.
Providing great customer service and great communication.

PAY IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE. RELATABLE CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED. This does not include landscaping, traffic control/flagger, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, excavating, paving.

Benefits include: We provide federal holidays off with pay, 2 bonuses a year, health/dental/vision insurance available after 90 days and we pay 50% of that cost, PTO after 6 months of employment, an IRA plan that we match up to 3% after a year of employment and no more working on Christmas because we are closed from Christmas eve to New Years day!

Experience we're looking for:

Construction: 3 years (Required), carpentry experience preferred.
Reading a tape measure.
Using hand tools and power tools.
Working on lifts.
Excellent customer service
