Weaver Brands is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Content Strategist to support content development and marketing efforts for our Livestock category. This role will help create engaging, informative, and persuasive content across websites, email campaigns, catalogs, flyers, advertisements, videos, and other promotional materials.
The Content Strategist will work closely with Product Development, Sales, Marketing, Ecommerce, and Creative teams to translate product knowledge, customer insights, and industry trends into content that supports brand awareness, customer education, engagement, and business growth.
The job responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

Develop livestock-focused content for websites, email campaigns, SMS marketing, catalogs, flyers, advertisements, videos, and other promotional materials.

Partner with Product Development, Sales, Marketing, and Ecommerce teams to support seasonal initiatives and business objectives.

Create educational and promotional content that communicates livestock industry trends, best practices, and product benefits.

Conduct keyword research and apply SEO best practices to product pages, category pages, blogs, and other digital content.

Collaborate with writers, designers, photographers, videographers, and digital marketing team members to ensure content aligns with brand standards and campaign goals.

Support marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including email, social media, Google Ads, and Meta advertising platforms.

Proofread and edit marketing materials for accuracy, consistency, clarity, and brand voice.

Monitor content performance and recommend opportunities for improvement.

Maintain organized records of content assets, project updates, and content calendars.
Our ideal applicant:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Agricultural Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

3–5 years of experience in content creation, copywriting, digital marketing, content strategy, or a related field preferred.

Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to adapt messaging across multiple audiences and channels.

Experience with SEO, keyword research, content marketing, CMS platforms, email marketing platforms, and digital marketing tools preferred.

Ability to translate product information, industry trends, and customer insights into clear, engaging content.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Familiarity with livestock, agriculture, equine, pet, or related markets is preferred.
