Human Resources Director (Confidential) – Skilled Nursing & Long-Term Care

Location: Red Lion, PA
Job Type: Full-Time

A respected skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in the Red Lion, PA area is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to oversee all aspects of human resources for our growing healthcare community.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on HR leader who is passionate about employee engagement, recruitment, compliance, and building a positive workplace culture. The Human Resources Director serves as a key member of the leadership team and plays a vital role in attracting, developing, and retaining exceptional healthcare professionals.

This is a confidential search. The name of the facility will be shared with qualified candidates during the interview process.

What You'll Do

As our Human Resources Director, you will:

Lead all Human Resources operations for the facility.
Manage recruitment, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and employee orientation.
Develop strategies to improve employee retention and engagement.
Advise department managers on employee relations, coaching, corrective action, and performance management.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, EEOC, OSHA, and wage and hour regulations.
Oversee benefits administration, leave management, workers' compensation, and unemployment claims.
Maintain HRIS and personnel records with accuracy and confidentiality.
Partner with leadership to support staffing initiatives and workforce planning.
Coordinate employee recognition, training, and professional development programs.
Assist with payroll processes and maintain accurate employee data.
Foster a culture of respect, accountability, teamwork, and exceptional resident care.

Qualifications

Required:

3+ years of Human Resources leadership or management experience.
Strong knowledge of employment law and HR compliance.
Experience in employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism.

Preferred:

Human Resources experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care, rehabilitation center, healthcare, or senior living environment.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification.
Experience with HRIS and payroll systems.
