Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT)- Multi-disciplinary clinic
Primary Location: Mount Laurel, NJ
Looking for an OT who thrives on collaboration, creativity, and clinical excellence.
At Elevate Health & Therapeutic Services, we don't believe in cookie-cutter therapy. Every child is different, every family is different, and every treatment plan should reflect that.
We're searching for an experienced, motivated Pediatric Occupational Therapist who enjoys thinking independently, collaborating with other disciplines, and continuously expanding their clinical knowledge. If you're someone who naturally takes initiative, communicates confidently with families, and enjoys working through complex pediatric cases alongside speech therapists, physical therapists, feeding specialists, and ABA professionals, we'd love to meet you.
This position is primarily clinic-based in our Mount Laurel location, with future opportunities to expand into our Eastampton clinic or school-based services if desired.
Why Elevate Health?
You'll join a multidisciplinary pediatric team that genuinely works together. Our therapists regularly collaborate across disciplines to problem-solve, share ideas, and provide the highest quality care possible.
We value therapists who:
- Take initiative rather than waiting for direction.
- Enjoy learning and are always looking to improve their clinical skills.
- Adapt confidently to a wide variety of diagnoses, ages, and developmental profiles.
- Build strong, professional relationships with families.
- Communicate openly, respectfully, and maturely with coworkers and caregivers.
- Love being part of a collaborative team while maintaining independence in their clinical decision-making.
What You'll Do
- Complete comprehensive pediatric occupational therapy evaluations.
- Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans and measurable goals.
- Provide engaging therapy that supports each child's functional participation and independence.
- Address fine motor, visual motor, sensory processing, emotional regulation, executive functioning, handwriting, self-care, feeding, and play skills as appropriate.
- Collaborate closely with Speech Therapists, Physical Therapists, ABA clinicians, and other providers to ensure coordinated care.
- Educate parents and caregivers with practical strategies that support progress outside the therapy room.
- Recommend adaptive equipment, sensory supports, and home programming when appropriate.
- Complete timely documentation and maintain high clinical standards.
- Contribute ideas that help strengthen our OT department and multidisciplinary team.
