Summary:Analyze and reformulate consumer product fragrances as a service to Perfumers for research and duplication. Use analytical skills and work with perfumers to duplicate essential oil blends to meet the olfactive and cost parameters required by the customer.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Perform liquid-liquid extractions and solid phase micro extractions of fragrance oils from finished market products to produce fragrance formulations
Maintain and troubleshoot GC/MS instruments
Update and maintain MS library and database
Olfactive training to gain knowledge of all fragrance ingredients
Other duties as assigned by management
Understand and execute all necessary requirements for ISO 9001
Remain accountable for all defined responsibilities as defined by ISO 9001 process flows

Position Requirements:

Required:

One of the following Bachelor of Science Degrees:
Chemistry, Physics, Biology, or Mathematics

Position Competencies:

Enhanced data analysis program experience preferred
Knowledge of basic chemistry preferred
Analytical and problem solving skills
Driven individual that has ability to meet deadlines
Can work well independently and with a team
GC/MS instrumentation knowledge preferred
Must be proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel and Access)
