Responsibilities
- Safely handle and control dogs during daily activities
- Assist with pet boarding and animal care routines to ensure comfort and safety
- Conduct animal restraint procedures using proper techniques to prevent injury or stress
- Maintain cleanliness of kennels, pet grooming areas, and animal care facilities through thorough sanitization
- Monitor animal behavior to identify signs of stress or illness and report concerns promptly
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners and addressing their questions or concerns
Qualifications
- Experience in pet sitting, kennel work, or animal handling roles is preferred
- Knowledge of animal behavior management preferred
- Ability to be on feet for 1-2 hours at a time
- Strong outdoor work experience and familiarity with pet boarding environments
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and sanitized pet care facility in accordance with health standards
- Outstanding customer service skills with a positive attitude toward pet owners and team members
