We’re Not Looking for Just Another Dental Assistant.
We’re looking for the leader of our clinical team.
Pleasant Smiles Dental is a fast-growing, multi-provider practice committed to delivering an exceptional patient experience while building a culture of excellence. As we continue expanding our services—including pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, and advanced specialty procedures—we’re searching for a Lead Registered Dental Assistant who is ready to grow with us and help lead our clinical department into its next chapter.
If you’re the type of person who naturally takes ownership, enjoys developing others, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and believes systems create excellence, we want to meet you.
This is a leadership position—not simply a chairside assisting role.
What You’ll Do
As our Lead RDA, you will serve as the operational leader of our clinical team, helping ensure every day runs efficiently while maintaining the highest standard of patient care.
Responsibilities include:
*Lead, mentor, coach, and develop a clinical team of 10+ dental assistants
*Set the standard for professionalism, accountability, teamwork, and patient experience
*Assist doctors with a wide variety of general and specialty dental procedures
*Ensure clinical protocols, infection control standards, and OSHA/HIPAA compliance are consistently followed
*Maintain clinical systems, workflows, checklists, and standard operating procedures
*Oversee operatory readiness, organization, and clinical efficiency
*Manage clinical inventory, supplies, ordering, and equipment organization
*Conduct regular back-office team meetings and participate in leadership meetings
*Train, onboard, and develop new clinical team members
*Monitor quality control and ensure consistency across providers and procedures
*Help improve workflows and identify opportunities to increase efficiency
*Work collaboratively with doctors, hygienists, office leadership, and administrative teams
*Support the continued growth of our pediatric, orthodontic, and specialty departments
Who You Are
You’re more than clinically skilled—you are a leader people naturally follow.
You stay calm under pressure, solve problems before they become bigger problems, and take ownership instead of waiting to be told what to do.
You enjoy building systems, helping teammates succeed, and creating an environment where everyone performs at a high level.
You don’t settle for “good enough.”
You continually look for ways to improve processes, elevate patient care, and strengthen the team around you.
