Job Description: Mailroom Clerk

We are seeking a bright, motivated, and enthusiastic Mailroom Clerk to join the team. This is a great opportunity to join a team that is focused on supporting the growth of our company.

Primary Functions and Responsibilities:

Copier Room:

Responsible for prompt and accurate reproduction of all print requests.
Responds to customer requests. Records and tracks customer inquiries and fulfillment of requests.
Track copier usage and managing materials in an efficient manner

Mail Room:

Pickup Incoming mail from Receiving Dept – US mail, FedEx, UPS packages and log in all tracking numbers.
Sort and Distribute mail to all Departments.
Retrieve Outgoing mail from Departments during the Delivery process.
Prepare and have all Outgoing mail ready for pickup each day – Post Office will pick up all Outgoing mail from Receiving Area.
Performs routine upkeep and basic maintenance of equipment (printer, copier, and mailing machines).

Other Duties:

Toner delivery of stored emergency supplies as requested by end-user.
On a monthly basis, collect meter readings on multifunctional machines (Copiers, Printers, and submit them to Meters Department
Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications:

Education: High School degree or higher
Experience: 1 or more years in a mailroom and copy room and customer service and/or office related experience
Physical ability: standing for long hours, bending and kneeling, frequently lifting and moving material weighing up to 50lbs. Able to stand and remain on feet for up to 8 hours per day
Skills: basic mathematical skills, customer service driven, flexible and adaptable to change in the work environment, great communication skills, time management on projects
Personality: Upbeat, self-motivated, team player and builds strong working relationships

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 20$-25$ an hour (based on experience)

Benefits: Health insurance, Dental insurance, Vision insurance, PTO, 401(k)

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Work Location: White Plains, NY-position family Facilities Management
