SYSTEMTEC is seeking a IT Strategy & Integration Manager for a remote opportunity for candidates working EST hours. Candidate will lead technology due diligence and integration planning for healthcare organizations entering an enterprise environment. The role will assess current-state technology, identify gaps and risks, and translate findings into actionable initiatives, business cases, governance requests, and integration roadmaps.
Required Qualifications of the IT Strategy & Integration Manager:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, Informatics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience conducting IT gap analyses and business process assessments.
- 5+ years of experience performing IT due diligence, preferably within healthcare or complex enterprise environments.
- 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience.
- Experience with application portfolio management, demand management, IT governance, and technology intake processes.
- 2–3+ years of healthcare provider IT experience preferred.
- Strong ability to assess applications, infrastructure, integrations, cybersecurity, data platforms, and clinical technology environments.
- Demonstrated experience gathering requirements and working with clinical, operational, business, and technical stakeholders.
- Ability to independently analyze complex environments, develop recommendations, and communicate findings to varied audiences.
Preferred Skills/Experience of the IT Strategy & Integration Manager:
- Healthcare acquisition, merger, or post-acquisition integration experience.
- Enterprise architecture experience.
- Familiarity with Epic and healthcare application ecosystems.
- Knowledge of healthcare interoperability, including HL7, FHIR, and interface technologies.
- PMP, CBAP, TOGAF, Lean, or Prosci certification is a plus.
Responsibilities of the IT Strategy & Integration Manager:
- Conduct technology assessments of prospective and acquired healthcare organizations and document current-state applications, processes, infrastructure, integrations, and clinical systems.
- Compare existing environments with enterprise standards to identify gaps, risks, redundancies, costs, workflow impacts, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop recommendations for technology retention, replacement, retirement, consolidation, or integration.
- Translate assessment findings into projects, enhancement requests, business cases, and governance documentation for demand management.
- Coordinate application migration, onboarding, optimization, and standardization activities while tracking dependencies, milestones, and business impacts.
- Collaborate with acquisition, architecture, application, clinical, operational, and technology stakeholders to advance integration roadmaps and support value realization.
Work Location: Remote. Candidates working in the Eastern Time Zone are preferred, with a preference for individuals located in the Southeastern U.S. This is initially a contract engagement of approximately one year, with potential consideration for conversion to a permanent position.
