About the Role

ESP Safety Inc. is looking for a driven Buyer / Planner to support purchasing, production planning, vendor coordination, and manufacturing operations for global industrial projects. This position is designed for someone who wants to grow into a future Operations Manager role as the company expands.

You will work in a dynamic manufacturing environment involving electronics, PCBs, custom metal parts, global suppliers and subcontractors, and engineered industrial safety products used worldwide. Our operation supports complex manufacturing with fast-moving customer projects and real operational impact. This is a hands-on operational role where you will work directly with production, engineering, vendors, and leadership to help keep projects moving, solve supply chain challenges, and support manufacturing execution across multiple global programs.

What You’ll Do

Place and track purchase orders.
Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, engineering, and production teams.
Review BOMs and manufacturing releases.
Track shortages, lead times, and material readiness.
Support production scheduling and project priorities.
Help drive operational organization and execution.

How Success Looks Like

Purchase orders are placed and tracked accurately and on time
Material shortages and supply chain issues are identified and resolved quickly
Vendors and subcontractors communicate effectively and meet project timelines
BOMs and manufacturing releases are reviewed carefully and accurately
Production schedules and project priorities stay organized and on track
Materials are ready to support manufacturing and shipment deadlines
Cross-functional communication between purchasing, engineering, and production remains clear and organized
Operational workflow stays efficient despite changing priorities and fast-moving projects

Requirements

3+ years of experience in purchasing, planning, manufacturing coordination, or supply chain.
Experience with custom or engineered products (not only off-the-shelf items).
Experience working with subcontractors and global vendors.
Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
