About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Contract Administrator to manage construction project contracts and ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency throughout the process. This role is focused on contract administration—not procurement—and plays a critical part in supporting our commercial construction department.

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Management

Review and manage all contracts, change orders, and releases, working closely with Project Managers on necessary updates.
Negotiate subcontractor agreements and ensure timely execution of all contract documents.
Establish agreement monitoring systems to track compliance and deadlines.

Compliance & Documentation

Ensure contract-related documents (subcontracts, certificates of insurance, releases, closeout documents) are completed and returned promptly.
Prepare clear and concise reports, job-specific safety plans, and O&M documentation.
Complete annual pre-qualification requests and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including prevailing wage requirements.

Financial & Administrative Support

Assist Project Managers with billing, schedules of values, and forecasting activities.
Create SSSP and stored materials backup using templates.

Collaboration & Communication

Build and maintain effective working relationships with contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
Communicate clearly and professionally, both orally and in writing.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in Contract Administration (construction industry experience preferred).
Strong skills in document review, legal drafting, and contract negotiation.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, and Bluebeam/Adobe.

Schedule: Monday to Friday
