We are currently seeking a reliable, hardworking Groundskeeper / General Maintenance Worker to assist with the upkeep and appearance of multiple store locations. This position plays an important role in maintaining clean, safe, and professional-looking properties for both customers and employees.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, dependable, able to work independently, and comfortable performing a variety of outdoor and general maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities Include:
- Mowing grass, weed eating, edging, and trimming shrubs
- Maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of store grounds
- Painting parking lot lines, curbs, and other exterior areas as needed
- Performing minor painting and touch-up projects around store locations
- Gathering and transporting cardboard boxes and debris to the landfill
- Completing miscellaneous maintenance and repair tasks
- Assisting with general property upkeep and organization
- Identifying maintenance issues and reporting them when necessary
- Safely operating lawn equipment, hand tools, and basic maintenance equipment
Work Schedule:
- Primarily Monday through Friday during daytime hours
- Occasional Saturday work may be required depending on business needs and projects
Qualifications:
- Must be dependable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift, carry, bend, stoop, and perform physical labor throughout the day
- Previous landscaping, groundskeeping, or maintenance experience is preferred but not required
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Must maintain a professional attitude and appearance while working at store locations
