Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a PM Dietary Manager to join Westminster Village team. To assist the Director of Food Services in planning, organizing, developing and directing the overall operation of our Dietary Department in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and directed by the Director, to assure that nutritional services are provided on a daily basis and that the Dietary Department is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner.

Responsibilities

Assist in planning , developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the Dietary Department, Its programs and activities.
Coordinate Dietary services and activities with other related departments.
Assist in developing and maintaining written job descriptions and performances evaluations for each Dietary position.
Assist the Dietary staff in the development and use of departmental policies. procedures, equipment, supplies, etc.

Requirements

Works in office areas as well thoughout the facility and its premises.
Sit, stands, bend, lifts and moves intermittently during working hours.
Is subject to frequent interruptions.
Must be able to read, write, and speak and understand the English language.
Must possess the ability to make independent decisions.
Must posses the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies and the general public.
Must be a minimun of twenty-one (21) years of age and of good moral character.

11:30am-8:00pm rotating weekend shifts.

Experience

Must have, as a minimun two (2) years' experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital or long-term care facility.
ServSafe Certified or Equivalent.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
